There are few more spectacular sights to wake up to than the stunning scenery of Glen Fyne, so bring your trusty two-man tent and a couple of sleeping bags and make a weekend of FyneFest!
The FyneFest site is compact, with the Main Arena and camping areas both in the same field, but there’s plenty of room for tents and all the facilities you need to make sure you’re comfortable over the weekend.
The campsite opens at 10am on Friday 5 June, an tent spots are on a first-come, first-served basis (but let us know if you need any special requirements).
There’s also a Quiet Camping area for those who want to ensure a good night’s sleep. It’s clearly signposted, but if you get lost, just ask a team member.
Campervans, caravans, and trailer tents are very welcome at FyneFest, with a dedicated area available for those looking to bring their wheeled camping accommodations. There is an add-on ticket for bringing a campervan, so when booking, ensure to book a camping ticket for each attendee, as well as a campervan pass for each live-in vehicle coming to site.
As with the camping field, the campervan site will be open from 10am on the first day of the festival (Friday), and pitches are organised by festival team members on arrival in order to ensure maximum use of the space available. We may have to separate campervans and caravans due to the layout of the field.
Each year, FyneFest partners with an external organisation to offer a glamping option at the festival, so if you don’t feel like carting a load of camping gear to the glen, but still want to experience everything a full weekend on site has to offer, there’s a solution for you.
This year’s glamping partner is once again, Red Kite Yurts. Glamping options, starting at £200, can be booked directly with Red Kite as an add-on to festival tickets – each adult staying in a glamping option must have a valid Weekend Camping or Saturday Camping ticket (though if you’re getting a yurt, you probably want to stay the whole weekend).
To enquire about a yurt for FyneFest 2020, email firstname.lastname@example.org for full prices and to check availability.
If you simply can’t cope without a proper bed, there are a number of local hotels who can offer you a break from the festival at the end of each evening.
To help make your weekend as smooth as possible, we operate the Local Minibus service running to and from pick-up points in Inveraray, Furnace, Strachur, Arrochar and Cairndow, close to where many of the recommended hotels are located. Journies on the Local Minibus service must be booked in advance – see the Travel page for full info.
It’s worth noting that these hotels are very likely to fill up quickly for FyneFest weekend, so if you can’t go without some home comforts, check out the list of hotels via the below and start making calls ASAP to ensure your spot.
